I produced a series of images illustrating 'What we know now that we didn't know last year' for the University of Manchester's Alumni's Diary. For instance, we now know the colour of Anti-hydrogen and that when a black hole destroys a star it releases a jet of material and energy at close to the speed of light! We know these things as a result of work done by the University last year.
